A great day will lots of fellow minded cachers. Met lots of people from many countries and collected and swapped Tracking Numbers. Ended up with some 140ish trackable numbers by the end of the day. Thats taken my TB count up.
A course of caches was layed out in the nearby woods and fields with the local Cartmel Community getting behind the spirit of the event and there were lots of great smilling faces from them.
Doing caches at a Mega Event is slightly wierd in that instead of being really steathy there was a queue to sign the log at each cache. Made for a much different caching day, but was great fun.
Found a Cuckoo Cache at the event GC4C35 of which there are not many about these days.
A good mystery cache GC3RGBW - Sub Limina, Even if you cant get out to do the cache, have a go at solving the puzzle.
If you havent been to a Mega Event before I would really recommend it.

Mage at the Mega
Been a while since I have blogegd. Sorry about that.....
11/08/12 - UK Mega Event at Cartmel Race Course
What a great event. Great weather for the day which really helped.
Arrived as the caching event started which was opened by the Mega Event Organisers and Jeremy Irish (The man himself).
