Ending a GeoSlump

OK so Ive had a bit of a GeoSlump (A period of not getting out and caching), due to various members of the caching group not being too well. Now into the New Year, we have broken the slump and come out fighting :)

Today we had a walk around Bruntwood Park.

GCT0G4 - 2 Wheeled wonder!
Getting back into caching we started off with a DNF. After searching the many possible locations for this cache we had to report a DNF. If the ground hadnt been so wet we may have found it as to search some of the possibles you needed to be in hands and knees.

GC1F60R -Bruntwood Bonanza - Not so "Lonesome"!
Found fairly quickly. Standard 35mmm film canister cache. So this is our first find of the year. Signed log book and replaced.

GC251W4 - Stumped in Bruntwood Park
Found this cache out in the open near to its hiding site, which is not always a good sign. Log book and cache okay. Inside the cache where a number of stones. I have no idea as to why people feel the need to add stones into a cache? if anyone knows, please advise! Added some better swaps.

GC1F60N - Bruntwood Bonanza - Wilmslow Road
Another DNF. The logs showed that a lot of people have searched for this one and not found. Placed a "Needs Maintenance" on this cache.

GC1F61W - Bruntwood Bonanza - Sticks and Stones
Found the location of the cache but unfortunately the GPS was bouncing all over the place due to the tree cover. We had to revert to our instincts and pose the question " Where would I hide the cache?". This one normally does the trick as it changes your way of thinking a bit. After trying a couple of possible places we found the cache. Nicely hidden. Signed the log, did some swaps and replaced.

GC1F61T - Bruntwood Bonanza - First Green
Our last cache find of the day. Nice and easy cache to end the day on. Signed the log, added some swaps and replaced, happily knowing we are back in Geocaching finding mode.
